How the offer works

1. You tell us about your organisation. Use the form on this page. It takes about two minutes.
2. We confirm eligibility and scope. A short call to agree which pages and features are included.
3. You receive the hosting and support plan in writing. This is the only thing you pay for. Nothing starts until you have approved it.
4. We design and build the site at no charge. You review it on a private link and request changes.
5. We launch, train your team and keep looking after it.

What is included in the free build

• A custom WordPress site designed around your mission, not a template with your logo dropped in
• The core pages most organisations need: home, about, programs, impact, get involved, news, contact
• A donation page connected to the donation platform or payment provider you already use
• Volunteer sign-up, event listings and newsletter sign-up forms
• Mobile-first layout, fast loading and accessible colour contrast, headings and form labels
• On-page SEO basics, analytics, and training so your staff can edit pages without calling a developer

What you pay for: hosting, maintenance and support

A website is never finished on launch day. It needs hosting, updates, backups and someone to call. That ongoing work is what you pay for, on a plan sized to your organisation:

• Managed hosting, SSL and daily off-site backups
• WordPress core, theme and plugin updates, tested before they go live
• Security monitoring, malware scanning and clean-up if something goes wrong
• Uptime monitoring and a named person to email when you need a change
• Small content and layout edits within the plan you choose

We quote the plan before the build begins, and the terms, including how either side can end it, are set out in the written agreement. There is no charge for the quote.

Who is eligible

• Registered charities and incorporated nonprofit organisations
• Community groups, foundations, places of worship, shelters, food banks, youth and sports associations, and similar mission-led organisations
• Organisations that need a standard informational and fundraising website

We take on a limited number of nonprofit builds at a time so each one gets proper attention. If the queue is full we will tell you the realistic start date instead of saying yes and going quiet.

What is not covered by the free build

We would rather be clear now than surprise you later. These are paid by the organisation or quoted separately:

• Your domain name and any third-party licences, premium plugins, stock photography or fonts you choose
• Payment processing fees charged by your donation or payment provider
• Large custom software such as member portals, case management, custom databases or mobile apps
• Copywriting, photography and translation beyond light editing of the content you supply

Why we do it this way

A cheap website is rarely what hurts a nonprofit. What hurts is a site nobody maintains: an expired SSL certificate on the donation page, a plugin nobody updated, a volunteer who built it and then moved away. We would rather earn our keep by looking after the site for years than by charging a large build fee once. That is the whole reason the build is free.

You own your content, your domain and your donor relationships throughout. If you ever move on, we hand over the site files and a current backup.
