Who we are

WPDeveloper.ca is a product of Four Cents, a senior WordPress development studio based in Toronto, Ontario, serving businesses across all of Canada. We design and build custom WordPress websites, WooCommerce stores, themes and plugins, and we handle the hosting setup, launch and support that go with them.

What we do, and what we do not

We build on WordPress and WooCommerce because they give a business a site it can edit, host anywhere and hand to another developer without starting over. Within that, we do the full job: discovery, design, a custom theme, any plugins or integrations the site needs, speed work, launch and ongoing maintenance. We also move sites from other platforms and set up headless builds where a very fast front end matters.

We do not sell template reskins, we do not lock you into a page builder you did not ask for, and we do not take on work we think WordPress is wrong for. If your project is really a custom web application, we will say so and point you to the right kind of team.

How we work

We quote every project fixed-scope, so you know the cost before any work begins. Only senior engineers touch your project, not juniors learning on your budget, and you own all of the source code, designs and intellectual property at handover.

In practice that means a short discovery call, a written scope and quote, a clickable prototype before any code, then a staging link you can check every week while we build. Most clients spend one to three hours a week on the project: a weekly demo and timely answers to a few decisions. The process page sets out each step and what we need from you.

Who we work with

Our clients are mostly small and mid-sized Canadian organizations: clinics, law and accounting firms, retailers, restaurants, real estate teams, schools and nonprofits, plus companies in other sectors that need a site their own staff can run. Registered nonprofits and charities can also apply for our free website build, where the design and build are free and you pay only for hosting and a support plan.

Where we work

Almost all of our work happens remotely, over video calls, shared documents and a staging link, so we serve clients in every province and territory and in a number of US and UK regions. Calls are scheduled around your time zone. See the locations we serve for the province, state and city pages.
