What to put in your brief

You do not need a formal document. A few plain sentences covering the points below let us reply with a quote instead of a list of questions.

• What the site is for. Leads, bookings, orders, donations, information, or a mix.
• What exists today. The current site address if there is one, what platform it runs on, and what is not working.
• Roughly what you need. The pages or sections you can think of, any store or membership area, and any tools it has to connect to.
• Timing. A launch date if you have one, and whether anything (a campaign, a lease, a season) sets it.
• Examples. One or two sites you like and why. Dislikes are just as useful.

What happens after you send it

1. A senior engineer reads it and replies within 24 hours, either with clarifying questions or with a proposed scope.
2. If it helps, we book a short call to walk through the scope together. There is no charge and no obligation.
3. You receive a written fixed-scope quote with a milestone plan. The price does not change unless you change the scope.
4. If you go ahead, discovery starts on a date you choose. If not, you keep the scope document.
