Who writes our articles

Articles on WPDeveloper.ca are written by Hamza Hai, a founder of Four Cents and its accountant and project manager. Her planning guides draw on the quoting and scoping work she does for Four Cents clients every week.

Technical review

Zee, a founder of Four Cents and its lead developer, technically reviews the articles. The writer and the reviewer are named at the top of every article and each name links to a profile page.

How prices are set

Articles on this site do not quote a price for our own build work, because a WordPress project depends on its scope. When cost comes up, we point to the ballpark ranges on our website cost calculator page, which are set by Four Cents, and to a free, fixed-scope quote for your project.

Prices set by other companies, such as hosting plans, premium themes or plugin licences, are theirs, not ours. We report them as published by that company.

Sources

When an article relies on a law, a regulation, a date or a figure from another organisation, we link to the source. Some articles also end with a Sources list that shows the date we last checked each one.

We may recommend our own services

WPDeveloper.ca is part of Four Cents, which designs and builds WordPress websites and WooCommerce stores for clients. Our articles sometimes recommend our own services, and the quote forms and calculators on each page lead to us.

Updates and corrections

Each article shows the date it was published and, when it changes, the date it was last updated. If you spot something wrong, email info@fourcents.ca with the page address and what needs fixing, so we can check it and correct the article.
